IAA Transportation 2024: Dolezych with new products at the IAA

With the DoQuick, Dolezych presents its latest generation of ratchet load binders, which allow the user to work faster, more ergonomically, and more easily than ever before. All this comes with double the tensioning distance compared to standard ratchet load binders and a shorter lever length. The quick-tensioning mechanism allows the thread to be extended or retracted within a second, saving time and effort to transition the binder from transport to application state and to pre-tension the chain. Loading times are thus significantly reduced and physical strain is decreased. Thanks to the unilaterally installed swivel eye, there are never any issues with twisted steel or textile chains again.

DoNova: Easier Securing with the Textile Chain

Once again, Dolezych is showcasing the textile chain DoNova. Due to its low weight, it is easy to handle and, thanks to the high-performance fiber Dyneema, as strong as steel. With the new forkhead hook for the DoNova up to LC 20,000 daN, work can now be performed even more ergonomically, as the end hook eliminates the need for coupling links. Additionally, a new label eliminates clattering metal parts and flapping labels. Furthermore, the DoNova can be tensioned as usual with the DoRa ratchet binder and now also with the new DoQuick.

DoMessPro: Easily Read Pre-Tensioning Force

The Dortmund team also brought along the new product innovation DoMessPro, the new digital pre-tensioning force indicator. Designed for 50 mm lashing straps, the respective pre-tensioning force can now be read quickly and, above all, safely on a digital display. Its special design requires only a small amount of force on the lever, making the device easy and ergonomic to use. Another advantage: When re-tensioning the lashing strap, the pre-tensioning force indicator can remain on it, allowing the applied pre-tensioning force to be monitored live. Unlike standard "measuring devices," the DoMessPro also offers a uniquely large measuring range up to 1,250 daN, allowing for the detection of even higher pre-tensioning forces. Thanks to the integrated battery, the DoMessPro can simply be charged with a USB cable and is thus always ready for use.
